Steven Watson is a musician based in the United Kingdom. He has a BA (Hons) from the University of East Anglia and an MMus from King’s College London. He is currently pursuing a PhD into the history and technique of playing classical guitar without nails at the International Guitar Research Centre (University of Surrey), supervised by Stephen Goss. Steven performs as both a soloist and accompanist (visit his YouTube channel for recordings of his playing). As a composer, Steven has written works for various musicians including Red Note Ensemble, Lontano, and Rob MacKillop. He has published two books of transcriptions and written reviews and articles for various publications, such as Musical Opinion and Interlude.
